Meet Our Providers

Jory Croft, Physician Assistant (PA-C)

Mrs. Jory Croft was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Dance. She attended the Medical University of South Carolina where she obtained a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in August 2012. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and began practicing at Low Country Health Care System in March 2013. She has practiced primary care and pediatrics at several Low Country Health Care Clinics. Jory currently resides in Aiken, SC with her husband (Justin), two children (Annalise and Wade), and their dog (Elsa), and is excited to serve her local community. Jory is passionate about patient education and desires to empower her patients to live their healthiest lives. When she is not in the office, you will find her spending time with her friends and family, serving at New Spring Church Aiken, practicing yoga and Pilates, or reading. ​

Dr. Ashley Roxanne Peterson, DO

Dr. Ashley Peterson, DO, is a primary care physician at Aiken Family Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree from UNC Charlotte, attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Georgia campus, and completed her residency at the Morehouse School of Medicine.

Dr. Peterson began practicing medicine in 2019 and joined Low Country Health Care System in 2024. Her professional interests include addiction medicine, women’s health, geriatrics, and preventive and holistic care. She provides primary care for patients of all ages, with a primary focus on adults. Her services include medication-assisted treatment, medications for opioid use disorder, Ryan White services, birth control, geriatric care, DOT physicals, preventive medicine, and procedures such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon insertions, Pap smears, and incision and drainage.

Originally from Irvine, California, Dr. Peterson was raised in a military family and now lives in Aiken County with her husband and daughter. She is also active in her church.
